Whenupai Pony Club
Whenuapai Pony Club is a fast growing club with excellent facilities and instruction for both junior and senior members, including a popular adult ride and riders without horses programme.
We are well known for our friendly supportive environment
We hold a variety of events catering for all levels regularly.
Above all we have a tremendous amount of fun as you can see from our photo albums!!
There is limited grazing available for junior members. We have recently moved to new grounds and these are continually being improved. New members are always welcome.
General Information
- Rallies are held Tuesday evenings 6 -7.30 pm
- Season starts and finishes in line with day light saving ie: Late September - Mid April
- There is a several week break during the Christmas holidays
- A pony club camp is held during the season - these are a great confidence booster for our younger riders
- Although not compulsory we support and encourage members to work towards NZPCA certificates
- Back Protector vests are compulsory at all Pony Club rallies and events when participating in X Country Jumping - WPC will be enforcing this NZPCA rule
- Parents will be required to assist with working bees, rally set up and clean up, jobs at events ie: dressage writing, X country jump judging etc
- Full uniform is expected to be worn at all rallies ie: Beige Jodhpurs, long sleeve white shirty, bottle green tie, WPC sweat shirt, suitable riding boots, even if you aren't riding.
